Who we are
Donnie possesses 25 years of experience in the cheerleading industry, having coached full-time for 19 years with remarkable success. He has garnered numerous accolades, including multiple National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCA), CheerSport, United Cheerleading Association (UCA), and Summit titles, as well as top 10 and top 5 finishes. Donnie’s unwavering passion lies in unlocking the full potential of each individual. This same mindset has proven invaluable in his role as a choreographer and routine reviewer, where he consistently identifies innovative strategies to maximize the collective abilities of his teams. Currently, Donnie is employed as a full-time choreographer, Cheer Director at Ultimate All Stars Brevard, Guest coach, and online/in-person personal trainer specializing in body transformations.
Alfonzo Lowe, raised in Norfolk, VA, started dancing at the age of 5 and began choreographing at the age of 13 for the Honey in the Rock School of Dance. Throughout high school, Alfonzo started to train in ballet and modern under former Alvin Ailey Dancer, Albert Watson. His love for dance never stopped, but during this time, he began gymnastics to enhance his dancing, ultimately leading him to the world of cheer. At the age of 24, he had the pleasure of working with a dancer/cheerleader who took 1st place against the Abbie Lee Dance Company in the solo division with his choreography. This ultimately led him to become a coach and one of the dance directors at Fame All-Stars. While at Fame, he received multiple 1st place titles and innovative and best choreography awards. He also led his dancers to an All-Star World Championship title in 2023 with his choreography. During this time, Alfonzo also began cheering with a team from Cheer Extreme Raleigh called Code Black. While on Code Black, he became a 2023 Silver Worlds Medalist, 2024 NCA NT Grand Champion, and a 2024 World Champion. Alfonzo is also a 2-time Cheersport champion, a 4-time world finalist, and a 2023 UCA Champion. Alfonzo continues to coach at Fame All-Stars, doing choreography and preparing his cheerleaders and dancers for the upcoming season with innovative choreography. He believes that creativity is the purest form of life because everything is created from something.
Sheem Elliott, a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, is a two-time world champion cheerleader with a history of numerous victories in prestigious competitions. As both a coach and athlete, he has amassed a diverse range of techniques from various sources. Elliott is eager to share his knowledge with the cheer community and anticipates expanding his knowledge and opportunities within the sport.
Ashley is an accomplished coach and choreographer. Her passion for cheerleading aligns seamlessly with her creativity, leadership. Her mission is to empower athletes not only as performers but also as confident, disciplined individuals who cultivate self-belief and team spirit.
Over the course of more than a decade of competitive cheerleading experience, Ashley has developed a deep passion for the sport. This led her to discover her calling as a coach. She has transitioned into a dedicated allstar coach and tumbling instructor, fostering strong relationships with athletes, families, and fellow coaches.
Ashley’s coaching journey encompasses leading teams across various levels. One of her greatest accomplishments is guiding the Junior Level 1 team to the first 99 score of the 2021-2022 season across all Division I and Division II gyms. Remaining undefeated, they secured a top-four finish at The D2 Summit. Additionally, she has contributed to her Senior 4.2 team who achieved back-to-back undefeated seasons and first-place victories at The D2 Summit in 2022, 2023, and 2024. Her Junior 3 team also emerged victorious at the NCA Nationals in 2023.
In addition to coaching, Ashley has refined her choreography abilities, optimizing routines to achieve maximum impact. She has received multiple choreography awards, including NCA Dallas Nationals and Cheer Derby.
Ashley has garnered a reputation as the “walking score sheet” due to her meticulous analysis of scores, legalities, difficulties, and creative strategies. Her greatest strengths lie in her ability to create creative routines, develop athletes and coaches who share a fervent passion for the sport. She fosters mutual trust and instills unwavering energy within the mat, creating an environment conducive to continuous progress. With this unwavering commitment, she is eager to push the boundaries of what is achievable. Her objective is to assist every team in achieving its full potential.
Tiy Fountain has been in the cheerleading realm since 1985 as a cheerleader for Milton Hershey High School in Hershey, Pa. Tiy is a three-time High School National Cheerleaders Association All-American and two-time Big 33 Classic participant. Tiy attended Florida International University and majored in Communications. He was a two-time Collegiate All-American and Grand National Champion for the National Cheerleaders Association.
Tiy’s first choreography job was his Junior and Senior years at his Alma Mater and Cumberland Valley High School. Tiy staffed for the NCA for 13 years and head instructed for eight years. He’s received the L. R. Herkimer Team Award
and the Top Instructor Award. American Cheerleader Magazine recognized Tiy as America’s 18th and 10th most influential “Who’s Who. “ These awards allowed him
to travel nationwide and worldwide to work special events, camps, and choreography clinics in Chile, Germany, and England.
His passion and knowledge for choreography gave him notoriety from hisVisual & Performing Arts for Music and Vocal Performance 2009. Tiy has also had the opportunity to work with Top Gun All-Stars (FL), Twisters Elite (Sweden), Team Scotland, Absolute Academy (Canada). Rutgers University (NJ), Montclair State University (NJ) , Harvard University (MA), and Florida International University (FL) to name a few. He has coached the NCA Junior Co-Ed Champions 2011 World Cup Starlites, World Cup Shooting Stars “Five-Time. World Champions,” and 2012-2013 Tiy was World Cup’s Coach of the Year.

Tiy was the first resident choreographer and coach at the World Cup Cheerleading Training Center for 18 years and owner of “A Blaque Tiy Affair Choreography.” Tiy has judged cheer and dance competitions in parallel with his cheer career since 1990. Tiy is currently the active Co-Chairperson for the Independent Judges Association.
Nicholas Fritz
Hometown: Pittsburgh, PA
Nicholas has been involved in the cheerleading world for over 20 years. He began cheering in second grade alongside his sisters after discovering his passion for tumbling. After a long hiatus, he returned to the sport in 2011 with HotCheer AllStars, where he cheered until 2013. He then earned a scholarship to move across the country and join California All Stars, competing on Cali Coed from 2014–2016 and Rangers in 2017.
During his time at California All Stars, Nicholas earned multiple medals at the World Championships. He also flew the iconic opposite Kick Kick Double opening basket in 2015 and was part of the all-male basket section in 2016.
He began coaching at Cheer Athletics Pittsburgh in 2018, transitioned to Pensacola in 2022, and has been at the Plano location since 2023. Throughout his coaching career, he has worked with athletes across all age groups and levels, earned numerous national titles, and led several teams to podium finishes at The Summit.
Since joining Plano and choreographing his teams’ routines in-house, he has refined his eye for seamless routine flow, innovative stunt and tumbling sequences, and dynamic, entertaining dance sections. He also expanded his creative reach by choreographing a local theatre production of Bring It On: The Musical in 2019.
Nicholas is excited to continue broadening his impact and reaching even more athletes through shared experiences with SmallWorld Choreography.
Jayme comes from Terre Haute Cheer University, in Indiana and has been in the cheerleading industry for 20 years. Jayme grew up with competitive high school and all-star cheerleading in her life. She has coached and choreographed multiple Summit, DII Summit, Jamfest Super Nationals, and Cheersport titles. At Cheer U, Jayme was an athlete, coach, and program director. Jayme also has experience cheering at the collegiate level. Her accomplishments as an athlete, a coach, and a choreographer are abundant.
As a coach and choreographer, Jayme has consistently taken her teams to the Summit and DII Summit on paid bids. Her choreographed routines continue to lead their area and give a distinctive concentration of cleanliness to the mat. Jayme’s strengths as a coach and choreographer are a strong eye for spotlessness transitions leading into a style of being balanced and clever.
As a mother of 3, Jayme is skilled and adores working with all ages, levels, and divisions. Jayme brings a level of consideration to her routines that is beyond compare. She prides herself into all the routines she crafts.
Khaliyl is originally from Staunton, Virginia! Khaliyl started cheering at FAME Allstars Valley before moving FAME Allstars Midlothian to be on Vengeance. He is a back-to-back Cheersport champion. He is currently the director of team development at Fame Midlothian! He is looking forward to branching out, exploring, and learning more about the great programs he will have an opportunity to work with at SmallWorld Choreography for the second season! He is excited to instruct and enrich the next generation but even more excited to gain knowledge from other choreographers and coaches along the journey!

Troy’s passion began when he started working at a local gymnastic’s center where he trained and was mentored by some of the nation’s top gymnastics coaches. In 1994, he operated the largest mobile gymnastic’s program in Southern California and opened his own gymnastic’s center in Laguna Niguel in 1996. Soon after, he started the first All-Star cheerleading program in Orange County, Magic All-Stars. After 13 successful years, he combined his program with Pacific Coast Cheer and operated under Pacific Coast Magic until the 2017-2018 season. Magic All-Stars was reborn with the same passion and drive. Troy continues to lead the way in innovation, technique, and world class pyramid choreography. Troy was named GSSA’s California Coach of the Year in 2007 and was a finalist for California Coach of the year in 2019. He choreographs all over the world and works with top notch gyms both locally and globally.

Ricky is an enthusiastic and dedicated multi-national and world-winning coach and choreographer, passionate about developing athletes at every level. His cheer journey began in 2012 as an athlete, growing from recreational cheer into the competitive world of All Star. Over the years, his love for coaching and choreography has only continued to flourish. In his very first season coaching and choreographing at Power Athletics, Ricky led the Youth Level 4 to a first-place NCA title, along with receiving the Innovative Choreography Award at NCA, a testament to his creativity and leadership. Now entering another exciting season at Power Athletics, Coach Ricky won two National Championship Titles at NCA this year in the Limited Small Senior 6 and Junior 5 Small divisions!Ricky remains committed to pushing the boundaries of performance and artistry. He looks forward to continuing to work with athletes and programs across the industry, always aiming to bring out the very best in each team.

Coach Chardae is a passionate and accomplished coach known for developing athletes both in skill and character. As an athlete at top programs like Maryland Twisters, Fame All Stars, and Cheer Extreme Raleigh, she’s used that experience to shape her coaching style and philosophy. She’s helped lead multiple teams to titles at CHEERSPORT, NCA, Jamfest, and to the top of their Summit divisions. Now coaching at Power Athletics MD, she focuses on building a strong, fun gym culture and a second home for her athletes. Coach Chardae won two National Championship Titles at NCA this year in the Limited Small Senior 6 and Junior 5 Small divisions! Off the mat, she holds an MBA, works in public service, and is a proud mom.

Kelly Makay, Director of Operations
North Huntingdon, PA
Kelly’s career is marked by dedication, innovation, and a passion for cheerleading. Her journey began as a Program Director and Coach at Serra Catholic High School from 1994-2008, where she fostered talent and built strong teams. In 2000, she founded HotCheer Allstars, leading the organization for two decades until 2020. Her leadership and vision helped HotCheer Allstars become a respected name in the industry. Since 2021, Kelly has been at the helm of Operations at Cheer Athletics Pittsburgh, guiding the organization through growth and transformation. Her operational expertise ensures that every aspect of the business runs smoothly, benefiting both the staff and clients. Kelly’s commitment to the cheerleading community extends beyond her own organizations. She has served on USASF Regional Advisory Boards and Cheerabilities Advisory Committees, contributing her insights to shape the future of the sport and advocate for inclusivity.
Kelly hails from North Huntingdon, PA, in the Pittsburgh area. She enjoys a vibrant family life with her husband Ed, daughter Kylie, Son Michael, and their dog Malibu. When not working Kelly loves to travel, read, learn new things, watch crime shows, and cheer for Pittsburgh sports.
We are incredibly excited for this next chapter! Kelly’s leadership strengthens our foundation as we continue expanding SmallWorld Choreography with purpose, structure, and innovation. Kelly’s relationship with SmallWorld is longstanding and meaningful. Her gym was a client of SmallWorld for many years, beginning in 2007. This experience gives her a unique perspective on client needs and expectations, allowing her to enhance our services with firsthand knowledge.
Kelly is recognized for her attention to detail, exceptional customer service, and a unique understanding of gym owners’ needs. Her ability to anticipate challenges and provide tailored solutions ensures that our clients receive the highest level of support. These strengths, combined with her operational expertise, make her a trusted leader and advocate for our community.
Outside the cheerleading industry, Kelly works in special education within the cyber school setting demonstrating her commitment to supporting and empowering students. Her diverse experience enriches her approach to operations and client relations.
